Davis Studio Architecture + Design 2008 With its glass walls and soaring 20 foot ceilings in the living/dining/entertainment space, the architect demonstrates that “green” can also be dynamic. Designed by Jonathan Davis, an architect with three and a half years background at Frank Gehry & Associates working on projects such as the Walt Disney Concert Hall, he is recognized nationally for his mission of bringing together sustainable design, green technologies and environmentally sound materials while in consideration of the environmental specifics of each site and the health and happiness of the owner. A well planned clean lined design for modern living is unified with the use of concrete floors and industrial components set against warmer wooden accents. Some of the building’s green features include: solar panels for hot water & heating, low-emitting paints & finishes, Formaldehyde-free insulation, energy efficient light lighting, appliances, heating & cooling systems.
